AirPlay Option Not Available or Dropping Connection 1) The AirPlay option will not be available unless the USB DAC/Audio Adapter is plugged into the AirEnabler. Make sure the green LED on the USB Audio Adapter is on. If you suspect that you have a faulty USB Audio Adapter, you can try plugging it into your PC to see if your PC will detect it. Please contact support if you suspect that you have a faulty USB Audio Adapter - airenabler@qnology.com. 2) For the default Standalone Mode, please re-verify that you are connected to the AirEnabler's Wi-Fi network (AirEnabler_xxxx). You should see a check mark next to the AirEnabler's Wi-Fi network name like the screenshot below. 3) If you're running iOS 5 or 6, you may need to upgrade or set a static ip address - Instructions for Setting a Static IP Address on your iOS device. 4) The AirEnabler in Standalone Mode (as shipped) was designed with the assumption that your iOS device would have LTE/4G cellular internet access. If you're using an iPod or iPad with Wi-Fi only AND plan to use the AirEnabler in Standalone Mode, you'll need to set a static IP Address on your iOS device (only required to be done once) for the AirPlay option to show up consistently and properly. Note that if you're planning on using the AirEnabler at home in Wireless Client Mode or Wired Client Mode, a static IP Address is not required on your iPad/iPod with Wi-Fi only. Instructions for Setting a Static IP Address on your iOS device. 5) If you're using the AirEnabler at home in Wireless Client Mode (the recommended mode for home use) and the AirPlay option is not showing up, try the following:
